Alexandrea
Founded in 2017 by Armenian-American entrepreneur Adam Kablanian. Vineyards were planted across three provinces at once — Kotayk, Aragatsotn and Vayots Dzor — totalling about 76 hectares. Alongside the native Voskehat, Areni and Sireni, the plantings include Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Muscat, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Merlot, Malbec and Syrah. The wines are made by consulting winemaker Jeff Ritchey, a graduate of UC Santa Barbara and UC Davis.
