About the winery
AreWine is a family winery founded in 2019 in the village of Areni, Vayots Dzor, working only with grapes from its own vineyards on the slopes around the village. Reds are made from black Areni, amber wines from Mskhali, Khatun Kharji and Voskehat; fermentation uses native yeasts, no sulphur or additives are added and the wines are unfiltered, maturing in karases and in steel or fibreglass tanks. The range counts three amber and five red wines, with a pét-nat announced; the winery in Areni also hosts lunches and dinners by reservation.
