Gevorkian Winery

Not enough data

A winery founded by Vahagn Gevorkian in 2006 in the Avan district of Yerevan. It works only with indigenous Armenian grapes and is known as the sole producer of wines from raisined fruit by the old 'kakhani' method, sold as the Ariats range. The house leans heavily on karas, tracking down and restoring old clay vessels from villages around the country, and has released Armenia's first ice wine, Anaïs Reserve Icewine, along with the Hay Pet Nat rosé. Its separate 365 line covers fruit wines from pomegranate, apricot, quince, cherry and cornelian cherry.
