HOVAZ
A label of Wine Formula, set up in 2018 by a group of young winemaking and viticulture specialists. Hovaz is Armenian for leopard: the company says it channels a tenth of the label's sales revenue into Caucasian leopard conservation. The rosé, red and red reserve come from Areni grown in the Areni community in Vayots Dzor, the white from Kangun grown in the Voskehat community in Armavir. Since 2022 it has run the Hovaz Wine Rooms tasting space in Dilijan.
