Kataro

Not enough data

A family winery of the Avetisyan family, grown out of vineyards in Togh village in Artsakh (Hadrut). The wine is named for the Kataro monastery on Mount Dizapayt. The mainstay grape is the rare local Khndoghni (Sireni), and the range rests on two wines, Classic and Reserve, the latter spending a year in Caucasian oak. After the loss of Artsakh in 2023 production moved to a new facility in Dzoraghbyur near Yerevan.
