About the winery
Kenats Group is a family company in the village of Ararat, Ararat region, whose history goes back to Arshak Varzhapetyan, who settled here in 1915 and planted vineyards; the clay jars he used are still kept at the factory. The company grows grapes in its own vineyards in the Ararat valley and bottles two wine ranges, Kenats and Gagat: dry and semi-sweet red, white and rosé wines plus a wide set of fruit wines (pomegranate, cornel, quince, apricot and others). Fruit vodkas and about 90 kinds of canned food are made at the same site.
