Martiros
The label commemorates Martiros Yavrunts, born in 1902 in Bitlis into a winemaking family: after the Genocide the family moved to Marseille and then to Burgundy, and Martiros spent his life on wine, hoping one day to make it from grapes grown in his homeland. A century later the label was set up in Armenia in his name. Reds come from Areni in Ararat and Vayots Dzor, whites from Voskehat and Sauvignon Blanc around Ashtarak, fermented in temperature-controlled steel.
