About the winery
Norqi Keghar is the wine label of Norqi Marani, a boutique winery the Derdzakyan family founded in 2020 on the site of its 150-year-old cellar in Nork-Marash, Yerevan. Seven wines are made in small lots (up to 3,000 bottles each) with wild-yeast fermentation and ageing in oak or clay karas; Areni, Karmrahyut, Kangun and Voskehat come from Vayots Dzor, Armavir and Aragatsotn, while the rare Ararati (Khachabash) is picked from the family's own century-old vines in Nork. A tasting hall next to the cellar receives visitors.
