Old Bridge Winery
A family operation in Yeghegnadzor, Vayots Dzor, started in 1998, with 5 hectares of vineyards on the Arpa valley slopes near the hamlet of Arpi at 1200–1250 m. Areni Noir is the mainstay, with a white made from Voskehat. Yields are kept low at 4–5 tonnes per hectare and the wines are estate bottled. Armen Khalatyan is the chief winemaker; the winery also runs a restaurant and a small B&B.
