Vedi Alco
The company is built from two plants — the Getap factory, working since 1938, and the Vedi factory, since 1956. Its own vineyards have been planted since 2000 on the stony slopes of Vayots Dzor and in the Ararat Valley, covering 150 hectares at 800 to 1600 m. Areni is the main variety, behind the 'Areni' and 'Getap Vernashen' wines. Alongside wine the range runs to over a hundred spirits, brandy and vodka included.
