About the winery
The Yerevan Champagne Wines Factory has operated on Tbilisyan Highway in the Kanaker-Zeytun district of Yerevan since 1939; it began with sweet and dry still wines, added sparkling wine in 1954 and was privatised as an open joint-stock company in 1995. It is the only Armenian producer making a full range of sparkling wines by both the traditional (bottle) and tank methods, alongside still wines and aged brandies, and exports abroad.
