Zara
A small family winery founded by Zaruhi Muradyan, Armenia's first woman winemaker, in the trade since 2000 and a PhD enologist. Production started in 2013 and the first harvest came in 2014. The wines are made from Armenian indigenous varieties, chiefly Areni and Voskehat, aged in French and Artsakh oak, with technical decisions drawn from the founder's own research.
