MAP
A wine and brandy plant in the Armavir village of Lenughi, one of Armenia's larger producers of alcoholic drinks. It traces its history to the Hoktemberian wine and brandy factory, privatised in 1995 as an open joint-stock company and reorganised as MAP CJSC in 2001. Brandy dominates its output, but the plant also makes wine under the Aramé, Tigran and Hasmik labels, plus fruit wines from pomegranate, strawberry and cherry. Stated annual capacity is up to 14 million litres.
