About the winery

Proshyan Brandy Factory was founded in 1995 by Armen Gasparyan and Eduard Chobanyan, who bought a small Soviet-era plant and started with sparkling wine, then became the first in Armenia to release a pomegranate wine, later adding vodka and brandy. Besides brandy the company bottles still and sparkling grape and fruit wines under the Proshyan, Kamar, Frunzik, POM.X and other labels, including Areni, Kangun, Voskehat and a Frunzik red of Areni with Ancelotta.
