RTG Wine was founded in 2018 as a vineyard near the Urartian site of Argishtikhinili in Armavir province, on volcanic, clay and clay-sandy soils, and started making wine in 2021. The two main varieties are Karmrahyut and Garandmak, trained on a cordon system. Volumes are small; the range includes a fortified red 'Portwine'.
