Sarduri

Small family winery

The estate was founded in 2011 in Aghtsk village, Aragatsotn province. Its 10 hectares of vineyards were planted back in 2003 by founder Garush Samvelyan, a hereditary winemaker, and the wines are made only from estate fruit. Ancient Armenian varieties are worked — Voskehat (Kharji) and Kakheti — combining local tradition with modern French technique. Three wines are made: a white, a red and a sweet muscat. The name is taken from the Urartian king Sarduri.
