The estate sits at Rind in Vayots Dzor, with main plots around 1400 m and old ultra-centennial parcels at 1600 m on stony sandy-limestone and volcanic soils. Areni dominates the plantings, alongside small parcels of rare local varieties propagated from cuttings taken in abandoned vineyards near a 12th-century monastery. Wines mature in clay karas buried three quarters underground, plus concrete vats and large untoasted casks. Founded by Zorik Gharibian, with Alberto Antonini as consulting winemaker and Stefano Bartolomei as consulting agronomist.
