Muscat

Muscat is the name of a large family of related varieties rather than of a single grape, all with a pronounced grapey, floral aroma; the best known, Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains, is of Greek origin according to VIVC. When an Armenian label says just ‘Muscat’, the exact variety is not specified. In our catalogue Tushpa of Ararat province bottles an off-dry varietal Muscat from Ararat valley grapes; the Muscat Ottonel and Muscat Rose used by Armenia Wine have pages of their own.
