Where the wine comes from.
A province north and east of Yerevan. It is not one of the five wine regions listed by the Vine and Wine Foundation of Armenia: the Statistical Committee counts 75 ha of vineyards here in 2025 and about 0.2 thousand tonnes of grapes — under one percent of the country's plantings. Vineyards sit high, around 1,300 m near Proshyan.
