Վայոց ձոր

Armenia's highest wine region: vineyards sit at 950–1,650 m on light brown soils, with about 219 mm of rain during the growing season. The foundation counted roughly 1,200 ha of vineyards in 2017 — the smallest of the five regions. The mainstays are Areni (Sev Areni), Voskehat, Khatoun Kharji and Tozot; its two sub-zones, Areni and Aghavnadzor, differ by altitude — about 950–1,200 m against 1,100–1,650 m.
